Man, a tornadoes last night only about 40 miles from the ranch but the wind was wild all day yesterday!
Glad it is gone now. More baby calves... about half done now. YIPPI! Still working on my borders for the spool quilt in the book. Lotti, I hope you don’t hit a late Chicago last minute snow storm... Safe travels... Jane I feel for ya girl. I had the flue for 3 weeks and I am still tired
. Get Well soon quilt sister! I finally used up some of my scraps/salvages, cute little bag for grand daughters birthday.
Tomorrow I will attack my borders for the soon to be here spools!
Thanks, Bren, for the get well wishes...hope to goodness this doesn't last that long!! What a cute little bag for your GD's b'day. Don't know how you do it, what with calving and cooking and all the chores on a cattle ranch. My grandparents had one in Stevensville, MT and I used to spend every summer from the time I was 10, helping with harvest, and a couple of school years with them and loved it. But, its darned hard labor too.
Still don't know what to do with my spools. Finally took the papers off my HSTs after writing names and locations on the front--kind of like a friendship signature quilt would have, and ironed them all. Think I want to combine them into one quilt but need to figure the layout. I sure do enjoy these exchanges
