Well, several weeks ago I turned away from my hst quilt to do quilts for two dear friends in treatment for/recovery from cancer, knowing it would probably mean I would not make the completion deadline for the book. I'm OK with that, and can't wait to see the quilts from everyone else. I'll post a picture when mine is finished, and when I have permission, I'll post the other two for all to see. The hst quilts are amazing, and so different. Bunch of talented quilters on this site!

Crocus, I am scared every time I think about FMQ. Doing it is not quite as frightening as thinking about it. I'll tell you one thing for sure. I have done tons and tons of practice pieces but when I started quilting on something that really mattered is when I felt as if I was really starting to see some improvement. I also decided just like everything else I can't start out being good and I am very happy with my far less than perfect results. Lois

PosyP OFFLINE Posts: 4106 Thank you received: 361	YEESS! quarter past midnight here and I've finished Now to find a pole long enough and some place to hang it for the photos I think I can find a scrap of fabric to make a temporary hanging sleeve and since I am the proud owner of a blind hemmer machine, I will use that to put on the hanging sleeve (and it will be easy to remove afterwards - he-he!)
