I finally took the time to enter my quilt from the batik strips and hst exchanges in the local quilt show and received 1st place in the group category. Thanks to everyone who organized and participated in these exchanges and for the timely Anita Grossman Solomon video. Without you and TQS this quilt would not have happened. I'm disappointed that the quilts didn't make it into a book. That would have been amazing! If I wasn't so busy I would consider doing it.

The judges comments: "Incredible use of values and their placement for an unusual star motif are well designed!"

What a joy it is to see all of those beautiful quilts and remember all the fun associated with the SoTTT and Strippers friendship exchanges! :D Am looking forward to seeing Carol's wonderful finished CD/book! Thanx, Carol, and to Margo too for the link!

Hugs,
Shirley
