no sewing yet - but definitely playing

so far i've sorted the HSTs into colour groups
and have layed out the greens, the yellows and a few strays
all the blues, reds, purples, etc. still to come....
yes - this picture is a cheat

the top half is what i've done so far
i just duplicated the picture (made it lighter to show that it is the cheat) and set it under the proper half to get an idea of what i'm doing....

with the other colour ranges this will obviously change quite a bit - and be bigger as i've only used about a third of the HSTs so far

think i've decided to continue from here

I couldn't settle on one quilt so with my HSTs, I'm doing Edyta's Medallion quilt and with my leftover HSTs and my strips from the Strippers exchange I'm making up an Edyta sampler quilt with the trees, houses, strippy flowers, spools and applique. I think I will be done this weekend with my raffle quilt and can finally dig in to my exhanges! Patti

great trees
i finally got a bunch of large pinboards and started laying out my HSTs
took picture of the first bit - but of course left my camera (and the usb stick that i had saved it on), at work....
will post on friday
tomorrow is jazz-night - so will be at work till our jazz-dinner tomorrow night - yeahhhhhhhhhh - and not back till the early hours (and up again at 6 am...) so lucky you - won't have to work with a happy grouch on friday - HAVE FUN SEWING and i'll try to post my HST-samples either friday night or saturday
