Hi Deb,
I'm answering this on the forum partly due to being so officially in the "hall of shame." I am so sorry. As someone said, life did get in the way. The dog is in his last few weeks of life (it's been quite a roller coaster) and my husband had a scan and we're in the waiting mode again until the next scan for word on a spot that showed up. Your potholders are 90% done. All I have to do is bind them and get them on their way to you. I keep remembering and forgetting. But there's no excuse for my not letting you know where they were since the last time we emailed. Please forgive, I will do my best to get them done this weekend. I appreciate your patience so much and sincere apologies for keeping you wondering.

I absolutely understand that sometimes "life gets in the way", but receipt of a handmade project should be acknowledged, and if it's not possible to reciprocate, then apologies are definitely in order. It called common courtesy.
