I just want to share this. I found some wonderful "Tonga Treats". They are 2 1/2" strips made by Timeless Treasures. They have some really nice cream batiks in the collection call "Meringue". I bought a package and am using Thangles to make a 2" Finished HST. This way I can have a nice selection of cream batiks and not go to a lot of expense buying a lot of cream color batik yardage. I hope this helps those that are having problems with finding cream colored batiks.

They are beautiful. Did you purchase them online or at your local quilt shop?

Teresa

I just found them here: http://www.fatquartershop.com/Tonga-Treats-Timeless-Treasures-Fabrics.asp

They have them in strips or 10" squares. Both could be used with Edyta's papers as long as you cut them down first...

wow! I feel lucky. The second shop I went to had white batik. so everyone will get at least one white/dark from me.
If we are only sending one per person (I will wait for the final count after Feb. 7) I will just put the rest in with the other exchange.
If anyone wants white batik, I think there was at least 5 yards left on that bolt. You can contact the following shop to see if they do mail orders. http://www.quiltingbeespokane.com/

If anyone wants to *print* their names on the HST sheets, please see my post under "FRIENDSHIP TRIANGLE EXCHANGE".

YEAH!!! Edyta's books that I ordered from Amazon are finally shipping. Can't wait to get them to maybe help decide what to do with all of these HST's.
