TOPIC: BATIKS-R-US fabric exchange

Re: BATIKS-R-US fabric exchange 19 Feb 2011 14:13 #58283

I think I mentiond this before, but, I think because of all Ritzy's hard work to come, I am including a fat quarter in my package for her. I also will be sending a bag of HST for the ladies who are not able to send some right now. Hugs to all, Sandy in NY who is awaiting a new grandson around March 3.

My triangles are made, addressed, and ready to mail on Tuesday. It will be so exciting to see what we get back and what every one does with them. I wonder if Edyta ever dreamed she would start so much fun as we are all having. Thanks Ritzy for all your hard work in putting this together.

I have all my HST's completed and will be mailing them out to Ritzy next week. It should not take long to get there as I live in Illinois next door.

Pam--that is fine. I understand your hesitation. Just put my name as the return address and we will deal with whatever happens here.

I am sorry to keep asking questions. I am very grateful for all the trouble Ritzy and Margo have gone to to accomodate us overseas members. I am ready to pack my HSTs and send to Ritzy. My problem is this, we are requested to put our own address on the return envelope as the sender in case there is insufficient postage. I can appreciate why for US members. I am certain that the correct postage will be on my return parcel as Ritzy will have to take it to the mailing office and pay for it with the money I have sent through paypal. However as my parcel will encounter both the US postal system and the british postal system, the british postal system is unlikely to collect any possible underpayment for the US postal system, if that makes sense. I would prefer my parcel to go back to Ritzy rather than risk it never arriving anywhere due to underpayment. Please can you advise me Margo and Ritzy. Many thanks

Reconsidering my post about including a fat quarter gift for Ritzy - I STILL THINK IT'S A GREAT IDEA. I WILL BE ENCLOSING A GIFT FAT QUARTER FOR RITZY IN MY BAG. I INVITE ANYONE ELSE TO DO THE SAME - I think it's a combination of gratitude, and also, I'm GLAD I'M NOT RITZY!!! LOL LOL
You're on. I like this idea. Clara :D :D :D

I think it's a great idea too. Thanks for mentioning it - I'd thought of something similar.

Also - I want to tell you - it just looked at your profile and your Ocean Waves quilt is AWESOME - is that one of the patterns in Edyta's book. It is my new inspiration - WoW! Terrie
