Or a purse. This is one I did for a lady who turned 80. She is nearly blind so I had to choose a color, she can see.
I drew the embroidery in my Bernina version 6 software. My first try creating an embroidery from scratch.

Thanks! They were great fun to do. I feared that the markers might look streaky but they don't. My non-quilting friends couldn't believe I had made them myself... and they don't realize how easy it was, too. Next time I would buy better quality shoes, mainly because of the way they would fit and support the feet.
