The winners list hasn't been posted and wasn't in the recent newsletter today.

We have emailed all of the winners and will announce them in the Tuesday Newsletter. The Bernina winner is a Star member!

Did I miss it in the newsletter? Couldn't find the news. If it's there it wouldn't be the first time I couldn't see for looking?

My old irons are not usable. I just don't know how to get rid of them. Our trash pickup does not allow us to put in electrical appliances. I will probably salvage the cords and wait for a recycling day when we can take in what electronic or electrical stuff we have. Until then, it is taking up precious space. I was looking through my stash last night to reorganize and I have more then I thought. I guesss I need to get busy and make some more quilts. :)

Another good one, Michelle. Wish I had thought of it!

Cathy I am so tempted by your irons but I really don't have room. Sorry :D

Would they fit behind the couch?

Actually it sounds like she now has some room under the bed with the wadding!

I keep mine plugged into a power strip that also has a lamp plugged into it. I know that if the lamp is on, the iron is on!!

And when I leave the room, I turn everything off with one switch!

Kathy, I think that you will really like the dry iron from the Vermont Country Store. I use mine all the time. I especially like that it gets HOT; it gets hot FAST, and it doesn't turn itself off!

Me too, love the iron, but make sure you unplug it when you are finished. Just turning the temperature all the way down leaves it on warm, not off. I discovered mine after it had been on for a week, still warm. Lucky I didn't burn down the house.
