i've a george of my own:
here he is sitting in the phone cradle overseeing everything going on on my desk.

he used to travel with me all the time: the states & canada, australia (yes he's even been to alice springs and ayers rock - although not on but walking around at daybreak), beijing, all over europe, buenos aires. he wears a tie to look sharp when he attends medical congresses and conferences, yup george has been around - and certainly looks it - now he prefers to sit at home and guard the house

Oh, Lorchen He is gorgeous and so appropriate. What a shame that you don't have the time to finish him,

I would love the pork and sauerkraut, but no black eyed peas for me. My DF planted an acre of then when I was little and we had to pick them by hand. I always thought they tasted like mud. I guess I ate the mud pies when I was little, or how would I know what mud tastes like.

No black eyed peas here. Our must have New Year's food is pork and sauerkraut.
