Question for Bob, seeing that we are in some sort of 'soft phase' according to John (something to do with food shops).....

At the moment I can only put a signature on a message if I click on the full editor and the 'attach signature' option. Is there a way to set myself up so that the signature is added automatically every time I post a message?

Got it! But only in simple text. Can't get any fancy colour to work. Ah well, better than not having it at all. :)

Obviously not quite (giggle), but I'm halfway there. I picked 'Full Editor' and then ticked the box 'attach signature' under 'options'. I now have to work out how to get that signature right because I must have messed that up in my profile...... Ah well, I'll never be a computer wizard..... :)

Hello Everyone,

Because of converting from a previous forum version, there have been a variety of behind the scenes issues regarding permissions and dates of last visit, so I've had to clear out people's preferences and start over a few times today by rebuilding the user records. I've fixed the issues but this would have caused signatures and/or time zones to be rewritten.

Sorry for any inconvenience and I do appreciate everyone's chiming in and support. I think most of the major things have been smoothed out.

Eileen, click on User Control Panel (top left of the screen); then Profile; then Set Signature.

I still can't get anything to show up though....

Where do I have to go to set a signature? This is going to take some getting used to, I think.

Hmmmmm I just tried to set a signature, but it doesn't seem to show up.

I also can't get my local time to stay. It keeps reverting to Pacific Time. :?

Sandi, you can click on the link for "View New Posts" (right under the date on the upper left) and it will show all the posts that have been made since your last visit!
You don't have to scroll through looking for red flags! It may take a few days for the kinks to work out, but this is gonna be good!

Then, you can click on the little icon to the left of each forum topic and it will take you to the first unread post that has been made since your last visit and you don't have to scroll through the whole topic (either from the top or the bottom!) to see all the new comments! Cool beans!

The circles with the lines will turn red when there is a new post. I went through and marked all post read and the next time i go on I will be able to find the newest posts. Make sense? THere is also a star on the circle if you leave a massage. Cheryl
