THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO SENT BIRTHDAY GREETIINGS.

I got e cards, forum entry greetings, a few phone calls and then, of course, Brink's blog. How much attention does one woman need? well however much I certainly got it and more.

We had a wonderful party in our senior's park at one of our recreation halls with a nice dinner and hor doerves and cake. After dinner a friend read a beautiful sentimental letter that our dd had written for the party. That was a total surprise. I also got gifts of fabric from friends at the party and through the mail. (boy have my friends got my number - fabric -the best gift ever!!!!!!)

So again to all of you, Thank you, for the greetings, cards and gifts. This was one of my best birthdays ever. Your friendship and love means so much to me.

Grateful and humble, Ann in southern TX where it was 90 F yesterday

Happy Birthday Ann, I have another quilting friend here in Sarasota Florida who is a leap baby and will be having her 20th birthday on leap day! She was one of the first quilters whoes work I admired who praised my work. The praise and support meant so much to me at the time. She remains very special to me. We never know when a word of praise will light a spark in another. So a special Happy Birthday also to Patty Clendenin. Betty Ann in Florida
