Don't have any trouble with the toilet paper roll getting replaced Actually I get in trouble for not doing it, cos DH is faster at it than I am....

Sad thing is, I live alone so I'm the one who doesn't notice the light bulb is burned out (or hopes someone else will notice it first), can't find the light bulb, leaves the chair in place and doesn't pick up the wrapper!

They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out.
And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the #&%!* light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS!
But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!! Does this sound familiar? I don't know about the menopause but I've been like this for years!

Excuse me for being inappropriate this morning, but this reminded me of the "dark side" quote about rotary cutting. When HGTV discontinued Simply Quilts some wit, somewhere said that the channel didn't know who they were messing with... there were hundreds of thousands of largely menopausal women out there with rotary cutters who knew how to use them... Sorry, I feel better now.
