Limbania, your determination and strength in taking charge as you're dealing with all this are a true testament to your inner fortitude and character. I hope this third opinion will lead you in the direction you want and to remission. Good wishes and positive thoughts sailing across the continent to you and yours. Renata XX

Limbania, my thoughts have been with you a lot of times hoping so much that you were clear of this now.
I'm glad to hear that you claim your power here and don't just listen to what the doctors think you should do. You are the one who have the right to decide. Blessings and big hugs from me

I'm so sorry Limbania. Prayers going your way. When I asked my doctor how many surgeries I could have before deciding on a mastectomy instead, he said as many as it takes to get an all clear. Fortunately there was a place in Dallas for the MRI I had before the last surgery.

Limbania, you have really been a trooper through this long ordeal, and I know you will continue to handle it with the love and support of your biological family and your TQS family. Will continue to pray for the day you will get the "all clear" message!

Oh, Limbania! I'm so sorry!! I hope that the other scans get approved by your insurance and that they are able to pinpoint everything for you! It sounds like you are on top of everything. Remember that information is power, so keep learning as much as you can. We will always be here with you to give you whatever support we can!

Finally got the biopsy results from the second surgery back. Not what we wanted or expected to hear. More DCIS or pre-cancerous cells found. Just a few spots but still not clear.
So the search for information and resources to determine if a mastectomy would be necessary got started. I requested to my doctor to get a third opinion from Dr. Lagios, in Sn Francisco. He's a pathologist, expert in DCIS. Also requested the Aurora RODEO MRI, highly accurate and useful imaging tool, especially for DCIS. Since none of what's been found on the biopsies has shown in the prior regular MRIs and PET/SCAN, and we don't know for sure if there's more of the same and where. Will have to go to California or any of the other 35 states where this is available and get approval from insurance but, won't make a decision until I got all the facts.
In the meantime I'll keep Naturophatic treatments, more research and praying for either spontaneous remission or the right information and help to make the best informed decision.
Thank you again for your support and prayers. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Love n blessings
