Happy Birthday Lorchen
Happy Mother's Day to all.
I am having lunch with one of my sons (he has other plans and can't join us for dinner) My other three sons are coming for dinner with their girlfriends, but the catch is I am not allowed to cook. I am anxious to see what they make. The highlight of any day is having my family together.

My daughter reminds me that I didn't start quilting until I was in my 50's. I'm thankful that my DIL has the quilting bug.

However, Connie, if your kids will still hike with you, that may be equally as wonderful!

Happy Birthday Lorchan, and happy Mothers day to all.
It's my DD birthday on Tuesday 14th she will be 49 going on 36, which is what she would rather be.
She will be here today, but here in the UK have already celebrated Mothers Day on 10th March however my son lives in Australia and they celebrate today so I get two Mothers days. He will probably phone or Skype us I've already had a card from him.
Happy days everyone
Anne

Happy Birthday, Lorchen! My cousin shares your b-day, only she's quite a few years younger. I'm pretty sure she was born on Mother's Day too. I remember making her a dress, making up my own pattern, when I was in my teens. It was too small for her so they used it on her doll.

Happy Mother's Day to all! I will be spending Mother's Day with all of my children and grandchildren in my home of 35 years which we are in the process of moving out of. If all goes well by the end of next month another family will be making memories here.

Happy birthday Lorchen! Happy Mother's Day to all! My girls will be coming in for the afternoon, and the plan is for the family to go out for a hike if the weather's nice. In my fantasy life, the girls and I spend a blissful afternoon sewing, but I've tried that scenario before and I'm afraid that the sewing gene may have skipped a generation!

Happy Mother's day to all. My SIL is taking me to breakfast after church. He's a wonderful young man. My children will be sure to call, but we do not have anything special planned. My DS is coming on Friday night and that is always a special treat. I don't get to see him very often. The two DDs who live here in town I see frequently. The other DD will meet me at MQS on Wed. and we will celebrate then. I am hoping for a quiet day tomorrow, because I have so much to do before I leave Mon. morning. That will be a Mother's Day gift to myself. :) :) :)

Happy Birthday, Lorchen! I hope you have a great mother's day.

My church's men's groups puts on a special breakfast before the service, then I get to see my DD at my niece's house. Dear Niece will let us know the sex of her first baby, due in October. I will be a great-auntie for a 2nd time! I'm looking forward to the day.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! :D

Happy Mother's Day! May everybody who is a mother or who has (or had) a mother. Have a wonderful day!

This year it's especially poignant for me. In 1952 Mother's Day in Germany fell on the 12th (just like this year). My mother was delighted that her only child was born on Mother's Day. My sons will have to pull out all the stops today because I bet they'll spoil me because it's Mother's Day, and because it's my 61st birthday. I hear on the grapevine that my almost three-year-old granddaughter has a special surprise for her 'Oma'. :)

So, anybody doing anything special today??
