'Riding pillion' is great fun. You get to put your arms around the guy (a hunky one, of course :D ) who is riding the bike and hang on tight.

Rita, I thought of throwing the fascinator. It's got the perfect saucer shape.

Here is another event, in honour of Ricky: Hand-quilting whilst riding pillion on a Harley. :)

"riding pillion" does not translate. Or maybe I am stupid about riding Harley's. Lois

Love it Lorchen! Now would that be wearing a fascinator whilst throwing the discus or would it be throwing a fascinator shaped like a discus whilst wearing a fascinator?

Love it lorchen, want one too... Think I'll have to go shopping with a few good friends so that we can have fun trying out...

Chocolate is certainly not doping, it's required training nourishment, and so is red wine!

What about synchronized binding...
Or rhythmic free motion quilting ?

Lorchen, It is stunning! I love it. Makes me think I need to take a trip to England just to get me a fascinator. It is very classy. Good Choice! Lois

Oh, Lorchen! The understated beauty of your fascinator makes it so elegant! Glad you showed it--can we still see you wearing it at the wedding? Renata

OK, seeing that I have had requests here and several private emails nagging me, one saying: "Please, please, Lorchen, fascinator us!" I'm on my own, so no picture of me wearing it yet, but here it is:

Maybe Lorchen needs a holiday from all those kids! LOL

I suggest spool/reel jumping.
