Eileen,
So sorry to hear about your daughters accident, I'm glad she is OK.
And sorry you have to wait on the new machine I think it will be worth the wait. This has been a Bernina house for many years (my housemate, Kc, quilts too) and we are both very happy with the Quests performance so far. Kc just used it to quilt in the ditch and she was VERY impressed with the walking foot feature.

Peter and Dana,
Life got in the way of my picking up my machine. Our daughter had an auto accident(she's okay)and we had to help the other party pay for the car so they wouldn't have to go through insurance.
So, I'm still in a waiting mode-I'm going crazy!!

Eileen and Peter,

One of my dearest friends is a National Sewing Specialist for Babylock and thinks these machines are fabulous. I don't have one, but she can't say enough good about them. I hope you both enjoy yours a lot.

I just went out and picked up the BabyLock Quest last night on the way home from work, It is my first computerized machine so it is taking me more time to get to know, but I think we will be happy for quite awhile. Eileen how are you liking your machine? Anything I should know, or watch for?

Eileen how exciting to be getting a new machine...... Please keep us posted on how well you like it. I am interested in the dual feed feature as well as the stitch quality.
Have fun playing with the new toy!

Good Morning Eileen :D I have an ellagio, and love it, I use mine for machine embroidery!! I think the service depends on where you buy your machine!! The service where I bought my machine is the best. Erik, who does my machine listens and takes care of my machine like it was his. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, that makes all the difference. :Deileenkny wrote:
Come on! Isn't there anyone out there that has this machine? What about other Babylock models? A friend on another list told me that their customer service isn't so good. Any opinions?

I've been looking at this model also. Please share whether you like your new machine or not. I have the Babylock Ellure. I like it alright but would like a machine designed more for the quilter (me) than the embroiderer (not me).

Am looking at Babylock Espire (more $$$$ than my budget), Babylock Quest (better $$$) and and Brother QC1000 (again $$$$). I read about some problems with the Quest on patternreview.com. Folks are saying they have difficulty with the reverse stitch and that putting in the bobbin is rather cumbersome until you get used to it.

Good luck. I'll be anxious to hear your opinion.
