I never really had a vested interest in making a whole DJ - only in 'doing' it - whatever that meant. I could probably learn more if I did the whole thing, but..........I can learn many other things by doing them also. So, I'm working and planning.....and flying!!!!!

And you're right, sometimes it's important to let go of certain goals and move on. But you're moving on in the right way because you're just going to use what you've done in a new way. Way to go!

I'm toying with changing my plans for the DJ. I have, about 90 blocks done......34 triangles.............and because of my 'compulsive' nature, I am unable to let go of it to move into another project........and it's still far from done. Here's what I'm thinking. How about I arrange it in Irish Chain which would give me lots of space for 'quilting' play, but............with the 2011 BOM as the Centerpiece! That way I get to put all kinds of challenges into it!

I'm still pondering, but may elect to do this. I just don't necessarily feel a need to DO ALL OF IT. I'm delighted for the learning I've had, but ready to move on a bit.

Thoughts? (as if I hadn't already made up my mind)
