I appreciate all that time that went into putting up the photos in Show n Tell. Thanks Ann, they are wonderful. My favorite is the bear fishing. He's cute. Clara

I finally got my seven quilts posted in Show and Tell this a.m. Between having pictures with too many megabites first, taking the pictures over at a lower resolution and my internet not having enough power, it took me two days to do what should have been a few minutes. Oh well, time is what I have now, since I am retired. Or so everyone says but I don't know where the time goes. Summer is almost over and soon our fall activities in our senior park begin.

Hope you will go and look at the "show and tell" category as I haven't the energy to try and upload those pictures again. Hugs, Ann

I've been officially assigned my numbers: 11,641-11,650 (10 quilts). I'll put the numbers and labels on the backs tonight and post them tomorrow.

Just catching up with posts for the past week. Limbania, thank you very much for buying back your own spool :D I didn't expect that!

Nancy, your Tambani quilts are fabulous. I love the border fabrics you have put with them all.

Ann, I wish you a safe return journey to your winter home and you are amazing to get 7 more quilts done!

Rosemary, I put my name and country on one side of the fast finish triangles on the back and the name of the quilt and the spool maker's name on the other triangle. Then the quilt number goes in the bottom right hand corner on the back. :D

Just finishing off a second spare reel quilt - but what do you put on the label on the back?

Thanks!
So you bought them at shows or from the website?

Both. I've gotten several from the Web site. I got some from a show in Denver and plan to get more from their booth in Houston.

Ann, My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you travel. I wish you had ways to keep us posted as you travel. Do you have a GPS? I love mine. It gives me verbal ques when my exit is coming up and if I do make a wrong turn it knows it and gets me back on track. It would be worth the investment in time to learn how it operates and some money too but it might give you peace of mind you wouldn't otherwise have. Getting a GPS is a way to buy a good sense of direction if you don't have one. You know how to operate a computer so you could learn the GPS too. Good luck! Prayers!

Ann - why not make it a game? Whoever spots the exit first gets a point. And if you get headed in the wrong direction, laugh it off. If that happens, whoever spots something unusual (like a funny sign or a crooked tree or a pretty field of flowers) gets the point as it is something you see that you wouldn't have if you took the right turn. Talking about the exit and what you will see on that new road also might help him stay focused. Be safe, obviously, and don't do this if you don't think it would work, but try to remove some of the stress from the drive. That's not good for either of you!

I just registered seven more quilts with AAQI. They are #11632-11638. I will take pictures later today and hope to post them to Show and Tell tonight. They will go in the mail on Monday.

We are in Minneapolis, Minnesota for one more week and then we start back to our winter home in Texas. It takes us about a month to get there as we have a number of stops on the way. This is going to be a more stressful time for me as DH does the driving of the motorhome. He still is a good driver but I need to be more vigilant about the routes we take as he sometimes misses exits. It is getting harder for him to focus on more than one thing at a time so when there is traffic, he may miss the exit signs. And, as I may have said before, I am directionally challenged - have been all my life so this is definitely a stress point for me.

I have a few more ideas for Priority Quilts but probably will not get much sewing time until we get back to our home in Texas.

Hugs, Ann - the traveling quilter.
Ann, got your quilts recorded and thank you very much for your numbers. Have a safe journey. My nerves just increased reading this posting. Please be careful. Clara

Nancy, you did such a wonderful job at combining beautiful fabrics together, especially the Tambani embroideries, to make GORGEOUS priority quilts! I love what you did here (actually, I like everything you create!).
