Msmizre OFFLINE Posts: 2 Thank you received: 15	My first 16 houses. I loved this way to paper piece. Having the sizes listed helped although the door piece for house 2 could have been bigger. Where do you live? I have family via marriage (my daughters in laws) in the Alnwick area and a pen pal in Glasgow. I too have the sizzle quilt done but Unquilted tho it’s moving up in my que.

Have loved seeing everyone’s houses! Amazing all the different directions people have taken. I’m excited today as my wool felt has finally arrived. Loving all the yummy colors and can’t wait to finalize my building color combinations.

I plan to customize houses to reflect the houses my husband and I grew up in along with my siblings homes and our son’s home. The four homes we’ve lived in over the past 38 years will be on the outside circle NSEW.

cycled 6200 miles in 2020, all in the north of England due to covid , otherwise we would have been back off to somewhere in Europe possibly to see friends in Norway. I love text in quilts and thought the positive words in the background fabric were really appropriate for 2021. (i’ve had several questions about what the background fabric is. It is a Windham fabric called “SewHopeFull” by Whistler Studios.)
