It seems like we all like the idea of Lynette's quilt but want to make it our own. Won't it be fun to see what everyone is doing size and color wise? I can hardly wait for the fun to begin! Oh yeah, guess I should attempt to get caught up with the 2014 quilt.

Marilyn, do you ever come to my side of the state? It would be fun to meet you and take you to lunch.

Terrie, of course you could do it from your stash! Once we get the fabric requirements in December you will be able to see what you have got stashed away that will work. And if you go scrappy, then the more fabrics you use the merrier! :D

Rita, I like the idea of changing the size proportions. Squarer would be nice, I think. I`m getting excited because I haven`t done one along with you gals yet. The fellowship helps motivate. :D

I wonder if I could do it from my stash?

Hurray, good to have you with us Connie. I doubt that I will stick to the pattern - I seem to be allergic to doing that - but I will have fun with it anyway. Looking forward to it now.

Hard to argue with that logic, Rita! I've got months 0-11 of 2014 and month 0 of 2015 downloaded. My plan is to pick and choose elements of Lynette's design. I have already decided to eliminate the top and bottom borders, and make more of a square, medallion style quilt. Will have to ponder the colorway a bit though...

I'm excited to be on the 2015 BOM train!

I'm thinking of the BOM for the coming year - would love to chatter with you about it, Connie. Just saying...

It's time for my annual TQS-induced dilemma! Should I do the 2015 BOM, or start on the 2014 BOM (which I missed because I was busy finishing the 2013 BOM! :? )? The 2014 design is more to my liking, but I really enjoy the camaraderie which comes along with doing the current design. What to do???

Doesn't this seem like an odd size quilt? Its not big enough for any of my beds and too big for a wall hanging. I'll think about reducing the size by 1/3 or 1/2 when I see the pattern and how small it would make the applique. Her colors aren't mine and I would do them in brighter happier colors. A long winter in Idaho has you longing for bright vivacious color.
