TOPIC: N block

Very frustrating...these instructions should be correct!!!! The N letter block is a mess. Who is to blame???? Whoever wrote the pattern should submit the corrections to us.

Call me a wishful thinker but I'm hoping that today is the day we will hear something about our misshapen N letter and a new one will appear in the pattern.(Hey I'm an optimist!) It's been 17 days since I posted about this and I think we have all been very patient. Love all the personal solutions to this problem that have been posted. I just think some kind of update about this would be nice.

Elizabeth, I think someone on this thread said they printed it at 96% and it worked. Hope this helps.

I am so disappointed that the template for the letter N still has not been corrected. Clearly the template (5.5 by 7.5) will not fit on the fabric (5.5 by 7.0).
The TQS Wizard suggested trimming the curl but I do not understand how trimming the curl will help. I finally scrunched mine on by distorting the letter but even so with barely enough room for the seam allowance. Even advice as to how much (%) to reduce the letter would be helpful.
Earlier issues were addressed promptly and the instructions were great. What gives?

Me too! I thought I saw JoJo and Shirley. I was thinking that Terry might be with those two but I couldn't fine her.

I cut one of the legs on the "N" on the paper and tape it together again to make it work. Just my suggestion ... :)

I actually reduced the letter to 94% and it seemed to fit better. I have that option in my copier. Looks good enough for me. I will hand stitch but not post pictures till Sunday as I am away in Amish counyry at the Moment.

I saw you guys, too! I was pretty impressed with myself to have recognized you, but I guess I'm not alone. Glad to hear you had so much fun!

LOL :D YES, that was my mug! I can't believe you recognized me. I had a blast in Bonnie's class. Terry Knott is in the picture as well as Shirley Forster. Can you spot them?

If you ever have an opportunity to hang out and learn and mostly have fun with Bonnie Hunter, RUN, don't walk. You will not forget the experience.

I sent an email to customer service today asking about pattern update notifications and if notations could be made on the patterns reflecting that they have been updated so we know when an update has occurred and then we can re-download the revised months of patterns. It is unusual to not hear back from TQS so I'm thinking that they may be away at a function. I'll let you know when I hear back.

I would like to finish mine also. If we are not going to get it, let us know so we can improvise.
