The Quilt Show presents A to Z for Ewe and Me, the latest quilt in prizewinning quilter Janet Stone's 26-quilt alphabet series. Designed exclusively for members of TQS, the 69"x 82" quilt is a playful yet sophisticated sampler. Each letter in the alphabet has its own panel, where it's combined with a related pieced or appliquéd block. Make one for the child in your life, or make one for the child in you!

The I square from A-Z Ewe and Me 19 Mar 2014 14:35 #116596

The I does not fit the way you say it should.

What have I done wrong?

I love going to quilt shows. I would have gone to Lancaster if I hadn't just gone to Mid-Atlantic. I was just sitting here trying to figure out if I could go to Houston this year.

How lovely to see the photo of Sue and Lois's smiling faces as well as Janet and BJ's wonderful quilts. Isn't it so nice to meet up with TQS friends at the shows :-)

Thanks Lois for posting my quilt. It was fun to make. Even thought I didn't make it to this show, I have seen Sherry's quilt...it is magnificent on both sides. congrats to both Janet and Sherry.

How exciting. Darn I wish I was there but alas, I'll be going to Houston instead. One can only do so many Quilt shows a year.

I'll get to see the TQS version there I"m sure.

Again, Congrats!

Just remembered that I loved seeing BJ's "Dad's House Plan". It's just lovely. Pictures do not do it justice. Wonderful work BJ.

Susan, so glad you asked Janet about her quilting. I was wrong thinking she didn't do it.   I thought I heard her say during her episode that she didn't quilt it. Where did I get that? I knew my brain is forgetting lots of stuff but I didn't think I had started halucinating yet.  I am going to watch the episode again to see what made me think that. It's not my intention to pass along misinformation. So sorry!

http://wsqg.org/Reynolds.htm has one picture from the front.

I googled the title Fire in the Sky Sherry Reynolds. Under Images, Karen Kay Buckley posted a decent photo of the front from Quilt Odessey.

We couldn't see the front. As Lois said, there where no white glovers in Lancaster.

As an add-on here for ya'll miniature quilt makers, there was also a small exhibit of 10-12 miniatures. We weren't allowed to photograph them, but Pat Holly had her India quilt in to. If you ever get a chance to see it, that's another amazing piece. So were all the mini's. Pat must quilt with a microscope.

The Quilts of Valor exhibit was also quite impressive...all red, white and blue (mostly), modern, & well-done.

If anyone else reminds me of a quilt that was at Lancaster, I'll see if I have a picture...got about a gazillion :D because I can see them better on my monitor than I could at the show...an eye-sight issue.
