Yippie! I've finally finished my Granddaughter Josie's quilt for college! Its called "Tutti Frutti"! Designed by Darlene Zimmerman for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. I purchases the quilt kit (fabric and pattern) from Fab Fabrics St. George UT.

Busy summer for us travelling to the 150 anniversary of the Golden Spike Celebration in Promontory Point in Utah, Denmark and Germany and lastly a family visit in central Minnesota.

So sad to read this. I remember her posting about her receiving her diagnosis, seems like not so long ago. Blessings to her family.

I haven’t posted on TQS in so long but was very sad to see the notice on Facebook about Limbania. She has such a young family and it’s hard to imagine them going through this. I’m glad to see the news got posted here on TQS where she has many friends.

Limania's husband posted on facebook that Limbania has passed away this morning. I am so saddened to hear this. My heart goes out to her husband and children. She was an amazing quilter and such a wonderful woman. So strong. Limbania, rest in peace.

I am captivated by the TREE quilts with the fun design, imaginative color scheme and the thought that you are making so many family members happy!

My first time back to the Forum in ages and what do I see? My new "one of my all-time new favorites" quilt! I;m going to print it out and put it in my Inspirations folder. Congratulations Geneva and thank you for sharing your talents!

I hear you regarding the frustration with the embroidery module. I get so frustrated sometimes that I want to give up. I've never been able to stitch something out without multiple thread breakages. It's so maddening!

I admire your persistence in sorting and using your friend Martha's scraps. It's a nice way to honor her and help others. Good luck with your Good Fortune quilt. I tried one of Bonnie's mysteries and it just wasn't for me. Though I do enjoy watching the progress everyone makes. I do have a leader ender project going. I think Bonnie's idea is so clever. I've made several quilts this way and it always makes me happy to see them done!

Dear Lotti,
So sorry to hear about your Dad.
I still miss my dad and he passed away 40 years ago but every time I dust the photo of him and Mum it brings a tear to my eye.
You learn to live with the loss but you don't get over it.
Be happy that he was surrounded by a loving family.
