my contribution - Dead Bod the pop art poster and Dead Bod rust dyed. The one above mine to the right is Dead Bod in Las Vegas as it has flickering lights that shine through.

I'm waiting for say partner. JULES DID you choose a theme or any guideli rd between you on what you're going to make?

Wendy, I'm sorry I missed this. Just rereading today for a few minutes.

We decided on a theme right away. Now my partner isn't so sure and we mostly chat about life :) but also a few random ideas on a theme. We chose more style of quilt the first time when I posted originally. We will meet at the Grand Rapids AQS show in August and I think that will help give us more ideas. We both have a lot of health issues and family likeness that we share and she has been a huge blessing to me and she says I am to her as well. We are so thrilled with the friendship, the quilt chat is background. :D

Congratulations BJ! You are definitely on a roll! Have fun with your exhibits, too!

Lotti and Marilyn, thanks for posting such wonderful pictures! Marilyn, I have a newborn fawn picture above my daybed in my studio. Someone at DH's work place took the photo, and then Costco blew it up and printed it to canvas. It was for a charity event, and DH bought it.

Last week my walking buddy and I stopped in at a neighborhood yard sale and look what I found for $10. It even has the original 1976 sales receipt with it. Works great. I need to get a manual and get the tension to work a little better, though. The light even works! Her name is Genie, and she is adorably retro!

Oh my goodness! Thanks again to TQS for honoring me and my little quilt like this. This quilt is currently at G Street Fabrics in Rockville, Maryland as part of the exhibit of my quilts through the summer. It also is a Hoffman Challenge quilt and was also shown at AQS Lancaster in 2011. It's not a great picture, though...I think I scotch taped it to the door and the two top corners are sagging forward...LOL.

Congratulations BJ. How's the display going? Have you had any feedback or sales
Thank you! The exhibit is going well. As I said, this is part one. Part two starts in mid July. I will leave most of part one in place through the whole exhibit until the end of August. I have not sold anything yet this time, but there are some interested nibbles. I am going there this Saturday (10 June) to lead a machine quilting workshop, and will endeavor to get some pictures while I'm there. Sorry it has taken me so long to do that. I have been working full speed to get everything ready for both the workshop and part two of the exhibit. Thanks for asking. Maybe it won't be too long now before I can catch up with everyone here. Cheers.

Thank you Barb! What a surprise. I would have missed it if you hadn't noted it here. My MIL was a wonderful woman and I miss her a lot. This was my 2009 Hoffman Challenge quilt and I believe I have come a long ways especially in quilting since I made this fun little quilt. It is currently at G Street Fabrics in Rockville Maryland, as part of the exhibit of my quilts (part one) there.
