I agree... Not very strict on the miniature guidelines. I think they are after more quantity of participants.

We decided on a theme right away. Now my partner isn't so sure and we mostly chat about life but also a few random ideas on a theme. We chose more style of quilt the first time when I posted originally. We will meet at the Grand Rapids AQS show in August and I think that will help give us more ideas. We both have a lot of health issues and family likeness that we share and she has been a huge blessing to me and she says I am to her as well. We are so thrilled with the friendship, the quilt chat is background.

Lotti and Marilyn, thanks for posting such wonderful pictures! Marilyn, I have a newborn fawn picture above my daybed in my studio. Someone at DH's work place took the photo, and then Costco blew it up and printed it to canvas. It was for a charity event, and DH bought it.

Last week my walking buddy and I stopped in at a neighborhood yard sale and look what I found for $10. It even has the original 1976 sales receipt with it. Works great. I need to get a manual and get the tension to work a little better, though. The light even works! Her name is Genie, and she is adorably retro!

I will leave most of part one in place through the whole exhibit until the end of August. I have not sold anything yet this time, but there are some interested nibbles. I am going there this Saturday (10 June) to lead a machine quilting workshop, and will endeavor to get some pictures while I'm there. Sorry it has taken me so long to do that.
