Andree: I received your row yesterday 8/11/2016. I took a picture of the row. I tried to post the picture hear from my phone. No luck.
Then I tried to download from my phone to my PC. Since I installed Windows 10 several weeks ago, I have not been able to figure out the downloading from the phone. Aaaarrrgggghhh. Will try again later.

In the meantime: Thank you so much for the beautiful teals in my row of rail fence blocks. For everyone else's reference, it looks just like Barbr's row from Andree, except for the color.

As usual, I am inspired by your photos. And the recent ones, especially the dragonfly. I did use one of your owl pics for a tote. Miss Hannah was quite intrigued with knowing that the picture came from Switzerland. She's so interested in learning, makes this Grams happy.

Sooooo good - sunglasses? Never. I live in central Switzerland - lots of green and lots of lakes & rivers - therefore in fall/winter lots of foggy grey days! Bright colors therefore always very very welcome to lift the spirits when we don't see any sun for a week or longer... (Heading into the mountains not always an option).

But I'm here now - my favorite place in the Swiss mountains - Lenk - actually only came up for a few days - but found they're just starting to renovate the the rental vacation apartment - so decided to help where possible and stay a few days longer - hopefully a chance to go for a hike tomorrow afternoon and good weather to see the shower of falling stars expected tomorrow night - if the weather holds I'm in the perfect place

Here a couple of pics from the renovations - actually we tore out the kitchen and the carpeting and wall / ceiling boards in the lounge and hallway - 5 truckloads to the recycling place today - and another two or three tomorrow with all the insulation that got bagged up this afternoon

Thanks, Barb and Andree for the heads up that I am one of your next rows. No rush!! Personally, I am months behind!

But! I got excited today to start laying out fabrics for upcoming rows. I'll probably work on Rosemary, Geneva, and Lottie's all at the same time. (All different, though.). Lotti, you may have to put on sunglasses for this one!

I'm busy getting three small quilts bound for our upcoming September quilt show. And, doing the lunch area, table centerpieces. Again!

Oh............hop over to the virtual retreat for some really exciting news! (As soon as I get it posted!)

The summer here in Laval (Montréal) is fabulous. Very hot and humid, but sunny. Can't complain.

Awesome glad to hear the row arrived and that you like it! (I like it too). I've made practice a block each time I make a row thinking about adding them to the finished piece.
Your right it would have been tough to mail the row from Iceland!
