The snow is a glittery fabric, so I'm thinking Marilyn knows me well! I truly love it! It is now hanging on my design wall next to the snowmen that Luann made. And, it is snowing right now. One of my happy days! Dawn

Wendy, Rosemary, Dorothy, Heather and Jen - Thank you for the compliments on Marilyn's row. As Marilyn mentioned it's 'flip and stitch' sewn on muslin foundation squares.
Jen - yes you could paper piece but then you'd need to remove the paper. Bonnie Hunter has a tutorial of this method ("String Quilting") on her web page: www.quiltville.com.

love that row from Barb! What a fun technique!

Here are my goodies from Luann -- a largeish piece of beautiful beach colored fabric, with glittery bits!, and a small bit as well, and *also* a small narrow bit of Spoonflower "pieced" fabric. Wowsa! Luann, did other people's bits get into my envelope by mistake? I feel greedy, having so much goodness!

(ignore the yellow and blue scraps above & below, and sorry for the poor lighting in my room...)

Also finished the row I'm sending out, but pics of that will have to come from the recipient when she gets it

Will say it was a great deal of fun to make, and I can't wait for next month! This is just the kind of "interruption" project I need -- I"m starting a very big project next week, and I get tired working on the same thing all the time, so like small little things as interrupters. These rows are going to be perfect for that!
