Katy Jones, aka Quilt Monkey,  is a British quilter and blogger who first started quilting in 2008 with the gentle encouragement of a friend. Her first quilt was somewhat of a disaster, since she made it up as she went along and hoped for the best. Since then Katy has improved her technique and co-founded the  digital quilting eMagazine Fat Quarterly. She regularly teaches patchwork and quilting workshops, which is where TQS caught up with her, at QuiltCon.
