***Please note that the Studio Art Quilt Associate's/SAQA Trunk show was not an exhibit of photographs but one of 51 small studio art quilts created by artists from all over the world. It was one Trunk of eight that are travelling in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of SAQA's founding in 1989. Visit the SAQA website under the "Artwork" tab to see the contents and travelling schedule for each Trunk.***
Lenore created this wonderful quilt from photos taken in Brittany, France. She writes, "A class of students was sketching buildings in this old village. I used my fusing/fabric painting technique. Many different fabrics were used, including Northcott Stonehenge prints." The quilt is pieced, appliquéd and quilted all by machine. Lenore exhibited it at the Denver National Quilt Festival VIII and it won Best Wall Quilt at AQS Grand Rapids, 2013.
