With this sample, you'll practice your invisible machine-applique work following Kim's Penny Circle directions (in Episode 1407). If you like, you can add a bit of punch with an outline of 'big stitch' embroidery.

Don't forget to post your work in the Show and Tell area. We're seeing some great pieces being created as a result of this series!

This week's homework is to make your own little Hankie Block following Karen Goeggler's instructions in Episode 1405. As we're making 8" finished blocks for this year-long project, be sure that when you go to the copy center that the line labeled 8" prints out at exactly 8".

We want to see your work, and as an incentive, we're offering you the chance to win one of FOUR Super Goodie bags (filled with lots of studio-audience giveaways) just for posting your work in Show and Tell by March 23. Winners will be announced in the Newsletter and Daily Blog on March 25.

This week's Little Scraps of Magic technique can be used for both large and small projects.  Gyleen shares her fast and simple technique for adding a binding to a project.  We made our quilt sandwich with scraps of fabric from our stash a 7" square (to accomdate the binding) to easily fit into the clear sheet protector. Get the downloadable instructions on the Projects page.
