Tons of TV people were at festival - I developed a serious case of camera envy! What is a gal to do?

Wendy and I go wwaaayyy back - We have enjoyed many years of raising kids and quilting together. While waiting for the ship to dock (sadly at the end), we took the opportunity to show what she was working on.
One of the best parts of my job is getting to visit our big beautiful world - and sometimes see things that I would have bet the bank against..............pirate ships in the most unusual places - aaarrrrgg
I was just at Joe Cunningham's site looking at his new quilts. Joe was our guest on show 101, and has several new quilts I think you will enjoy. Check them out at Joethequilter.com.
Who can't resist a guy in a Kilt? I know I can't - perhaps I have been away from my sewing machine too long.
Let me have the EXTREME pleasure of introducing my future daughter in law - Shelly! I knew when Joey went out on their first date (about 6 years ago) that she was the ONE (that is called a mothers instinct - you know, the eyes in the backof the head scenario)! They met in Santa Barbara during summer school. We heard about "her" for several months before they actually connected. She recently graduated from Law school - so she promises to raise our family IQ by several points! LOL - She is currently an associate for Hayco, a family owned company, and has me hooked on their product - check out hayconutra.com.
People ask if I like her - the answer is that not only do I like her, but I LOVE her to pieces! She is incredibly bright, insightful, kind, strong and funny. She and Joey are perfect compliments for each other.
The date - next summer - The place - Santa Barbara.
This future MIL is happy dancing in northern Ca.
Just when you thought this "phase" was over - I couldn't resist.
Boats, Pirates and Men in skirts - I hope you enjoy sniglets of our cruising adventure.
