Hey everyone - in case you haven't seen this months edition of Quilters Home magazine, it features a visit to my home. They sent our TQS Photo Man, Gregory Case, to spend a day with me to get some images that reflect how I live and who I am - behind the scenes - sort of speak. I was not only impressed with the snaps that Gregory captured, but also the intuitive questions Mark asked as he interviewed me. Thanks QHM for an excellent expose of a day in my life - although rest assured, as I type my studio is trashed!

OK gang - I am getting over some nasty something and it's time to get "back on the road" - or more of road to CA. One of the best things about large shows, is that you run into "family" and speaking of family, whatcha think of John's new look1704_road00.gif?

John and I are madly packing up our "stuff" for our road trip to Ontario, CA tomorrow / Road to California. We are SOOOOO happy to have been granted a booth this year (YEAH Carolyn!). In the true TQS spirit we have some fun and games up our sleeves. You might be asking yourself - so what is this sticker about - stop by to find out!  Also,  please use the booth as a gathering spot to meet with other TQS members - the meeting time is 1:00 every day!

As things move forward at warp speed at TQS, it seems that some of life's simple pleasures get passed by. What is that you might ask? Teaching at a local guild or quilt shop. That's right - communing with friends and friends to be made, and passing on the gospel of quilting is perhaps what I love the most. Thank you DVQ (Diablo  Valley Quilters) for a wonderful day - it was simply, the best! We learned the fundamentals of quilting design, which you can get in my class room on this site. By the way, you guys at DVQ get an A+!!!! So what is the latest class you have taken and what did YOU learn?

As Gregory toiled over the project,  snooping continued. Hey Gregory, You EARNED your money with me today! Thank you for letting me pick up the camera and document "A day in the life of Gregory Case".  No kidding folks, this is the way to go if you need your work documented. Visit Gregory's site for more information on his work and to find more about Gwen and Gregory's  book go here

The quilt was not exactly square - even after blocking it - While I snooped around Gregory worked a major miracle with photo shop.
