It got kind of crazy that morning and so do not be alarmed that I end up in a very unusual place. (six segments will air)
I tried to walk around (not just from shop to shop or restaurant to restaurant) the area. One of the things I love about Door County is that flowers seem to grow effortlessly. In addition, these wonderful fences are everywhere. Hmmmm...maybe it is time to sign up for a class from David Taylor! As an aside, if you have not yet watched his show (406) - this is a top list priority - If you have, it might be time to watch again!
In the end it is all about the quilts - So let's see what's cookin!
We just returned last night from a WONDERFUL week in Door Co WI. Door County is an island north/east of Green Bay about a two hour drive. If you have never had the opportunity to visit, you must put it on your "to do" list. I find the area to be incredibly inspiring. The scenery is over the top and the county is filled with incredible artists. Over the next few days I plan to share some snap shots I took with my ever ready pocket camera. Who knows, a quilt might be inspired along the way.
