I admit, when I started this group, I was flying by the seat of my pants. I have made every album, picture, discussion and membership Public. If this is not a worthwhile place to add pictures of Mug Rugs, I may be able to delete the group. I think we should be patient and see how this all works out, like learning how to play a new video game. I don't mind Groups instead of Show and Tell. I just wish all the groups showed up all the time on the TQS Wall. I'm not sure everyone knows how to find all that are there.
Terri, everyone can see everything because this is an open group. It is different from the Mug Rug topic because there are photo albums here specific to Mug Rugs. I'm not sure discussion here would ever replace discussion on the Forum. Discussions from both places go on the TQS Community wall, just like pictures posted anywhere go on the Community wall. When you find out who named us Lounge Lizards, let us know!
Just popping in to check things out a bit. What about this Mug Rug Lizards Group...how is it different from the Mug Rug topic on the forum? If some one post on here, will everyone in the 'group' see it. I guess by posting on here, I might figure it out? Is this popular, as the forum topic Mug Rug Exchange - I'm not sure what this is, except that I get more notifications of a post on the forum than on here. Is this separate from the forum? Can we post pictures on here? Just getting back into lizard mode after babysitting 3 grandchildren for 3 days. I need my lizards.. Another point...I've read that some people were having trouble renewing, or remaining the same 'person' they used to be. Is that all figured out yet? I am hesitant to renew, but I don't want to loose touch with you fellow lizards. BTW who was the first person to name us that?/???. Wondering if anyone gets a notice that there is a new post on the 'group' page. 1-2-3-testing, testing, testing...
Nancy, please try this: Go to the Mug Rug Photo and click on one of the pictures so it is huge. This should show all of the photos with arrows on either side to keep viewing all of them in large format. From there, under the picture is a Tag Picture section. I just did it on your Horse MR, and under that, I added a comment, but then again, I started the album, so don't know if this is why. When I click Add Comment, after I've added a comment, the comment disappears, but if I REfreSH or REloaD my page, it appears. Let us all know how this works for you.
I just noticed that for me, on your Grand Illusion, that Tag Picture is for Faces. I hate Tag Pictures. It's the Internet being friggin' snoopy. Picasa has this, too, and so does Google. I can only comment on someone's picture if they are my 'friend'. Not sure I like the friend feature. I liked being able to send a compliment to anyone on the old website.
I've uploaded a photo to the Mug Rug album and I also can't update the description. Looks like you have to be the owner of the photo album, even in a group album.
