Sometimes quilting can be very therapeutic. For Mimi Ghauri-Young, she used the process of making her quilt Finding Balance to help her work through some challenges in life. Balanced itself with its central mandala design, and containing machine quilting, machine piecing, and appliqué, this quilt helps push forward the thought that quilting is sometimes more than just a hobby.
