Last week we discussed who was the Dedicated Quilter and from the response, there are many who either thought they were a Dedicated Quilter or felt they didn't quite fit the description. Now, I am wondering about another aspect of my quilting life. I know there are some days I think my entire life is consumed by quilting, but in reality, although it is an important aspect, I also find passion in many other art forms...and, I wonder if this variety just spreads the creativity thin or if it provides enhancements. What do you think?
I love cross stitch and some days find myself torn between piecing or cross stitching. It's kind of like walking into a really awesome bakery and trying to decide between an eclair and a cream puff, LOL. I can't choose...I want them both!

Another enjoyment is embroidery...

And lately, I have been expanding my cooking skills...all of this does take time and squeezing it all in means the minutes required for this life is more than a 60 minute hour...I could use a 90 minute hour, LOL. I also wonder am I becoming a jack of all quilts and a master of none or does all this variety provide the spice needed for a fabulous quilting life?
So, share with me...besides quilting what else makes you excited? Do you feel like there is not enough minutes in a day? Are you into Cooking, Painting, Writing, Running, Skiing....Inquiring minds want to know?! How and Where do you find the balance?
