My oldest son married a delightful Korean girl who taught me that in their culture a child was considered to be age 1 when they were born, and everyone aged one year on New Years Day. The 100th day was celebrated because of high infant mortality. The international birthdate is celebrated for all official reasons. If you want, you can have two birthdays!

Jean Robbins...I hope you get this response. The largest area for Korean clothing I know is Korea Town in Los Angeles...you can google the stores there and certainly find something!!! Just so you know at a Korean Wedding one of the dances includes the groom carrying the brides mother around the room...as his commitment to take care of her parents!!!

I love the Korean outfits. My daughter is getting married in September into a Korean family and wants to do an outfit for the flower girl but can't find a pattern for that. Also, is there a pattern for the bride to go over the wedding dress and for the groom for a Korean blessing? They want to bring the Korean culture into their day! By the way, the fiancee's nephew chose the sword for his 1st birthday. He will be a protector!
