Regarding the quilt that you are not calling a UFO, how about WIP? Work in Progress sounds much more hopeful, as though you may complete it some day, and certainly more respectful. lol.

And next year, as you plan your travels, include the Arizona Quilt Show, which is usually in March, but has been changed to February (not sure of dates yet) be-cause of a conflict at the Mesa Convention Centre. See you in Arizona, we rock! Jill in Calgary/Phoenix

It was a wonderful show. Such variety and such talent. It is organized and put on by the Tucson Quilter's Guild. A lot of work by a lot of ladies. It would be great to see you next year. Thanks for mentioning us!

Sorry that you missed the Tucson Quilt Fiesta this year, Anna. It's the largest annual quilt show in Arizona with over 300 quilts on display. I thought credit should be given to the quilters whose work you showed here. The first (modern) quilt was made by Keith Dommer who teaches at a local shop. The landscape quilt was made by Kathy Adams and Joanne Baeth. It won our Best of Show award. I'm not sure who made the Sue Spargo wool quilt but the Lollypop Trees was made by Patricia Morris. Watch for our 2020 dates in February…we'd love to see you at the show next year!
