I am surprised that a special quilt would be used on the bed without placing the top sheet underneath long enough to fold OVER it, thus preventing whisker burn or body oils from touching the quilt. In fact, years ago, an extra flap was integrated into the back of the top binding to fold over the top edge at night to mitigate whisker burn!

Thank you, Annie. I did pick up a couple of tips on steps that I never quite understood what I did wrong. Putting the ends of the binding together was always a "cross my fingers" operations. Lynndi, Thee were questions on my "picture blanks" too. I clicked on the ? mark and the photo appeared on a separate page. Not ideal but better than trying to imagine what Annie was describing. I agree, the tutorial should be complete as expected.

I see questions about the "missing" instructions between the cutting off the triangle piece on the fold and positioning the fabric to cut the bias strips I have that same question and would like to see some answers to those concerns. The tutorial is wonderful but that part needs to be addressed for it to be really helpful. Is there any way that Annie can be notified she has some curious quilters out here? Thanks..
