Thank you for the MQX mention! I would like to add that sometimes fold lines are unavoidable. There is no quilt show that can move quilts around a convention center without having them folded at SOME points. I know that all shows try to not create fold lines in quilt...... please understand that moving around 300 or so quilts around requires some folding.

This is awesome and makes so much sense! I cringe when I see photos of quilts with fold marks. I've read that folding up the fabrics damages the fibers.

Katie, I would not use this method to store quilts because of all the folding and compression involved. I would consider this a short term packing solution only.

Organizers Janet Lee and Mary are THE BEST! MQX is a fantastic experience. This will be year 4 for me. Many of the teachers are former guests at The Quilt Show- so much fun to see, learn and work with them in person. The exhibition of quilts and vendors are A1. Attend if you can!
