I find this a bit hypocritical, especially in view of the fact that when, ye Americans, had a chance to put a female president in the white house, ye blew by voting for a male chauvinist. Back in 1960, Mrs Bandaranaike became the world's first woman prime minister. Surely,America who sees itself as the most powerful country in the world should have had a woman president or even vice president long before the 21st century. I'm not in any way belittling what women have achieved but the USA having a female president would have been the crowning glory.
