#13 you are not alone! I live in a 2 bedroom manufactured home. My sewing room is 7ft by 10ft. I have considered trading my bedroom and having more room, but have not convinced my self enough to move all the furniture! I am not a professional, so I don't "need" the space so much. I just need enough for cuting table, machine cabinet AND ironing board! Good luck to you.

It looks great. So have all the studio spaces we have seen. Most American rooms are much bigger than those in Europe and much of the rest of the world. The luxury of a basement is virtually unknown here. Could we please have advise for those of us who work in tiny rooms (or parts of rooms)? Presently I work partly in a corner of the living room and partly in a tiny guest room. I do think I'm alone in that.

I am sorry that so many of you are frustrated that you can't see more finished photos. They have finally posted comment #9 with the link for you to see more photos. I did have more lighting put in than code. The electrician put in on a dimmer as he was worried that there would be too much light. As quilters we know this is never true! I wish I knew exactly how I was going to place everything prior as my quilt frame ended up in the place with the poorest light and I may have more light added. Final layout did not get decided until my Mom came to assemble the table and fabric dispenser. She is a master of organization and also designed my design wall. Only the table, fabric dispenser and workroom (table saw, etc.) ended up exactly how I originally planned. I am a hand quilter. The table came in very handy to block my newest quilt which you can see a glimpse of on facebook. I just finished it two days ago and plan to show it in 2017.
