			<description><![CDATA[I grew up with a paralyzing fear of making mistakes. I also grew up sleeping under homemade patchwork quilts, and wanted to make one myself. About 1970 I bought a sewing machine and started making projects, just for myself that maybe no one else would see so I could tell myself mistakes didn't matter. This gave me time to develop more confidence. Yes, my first two quilts languished in the closet for 20 to 30 years before I remade the one and finished the other. Accepting the challenge of creating can be very satisfying. Sewing and quilting are good for the soul.]]></description>
