Wow! I'm feeling very inspired. And I too love to see other sewer/quilters sewing rooms. And I'm hoping I can use some of those ideas in my very small sewing space.

I love looking at these sewing rooms! I've noticed that most of these rooms are so big! Room for everything! I'd like to see more ideas for small sewing rooms. Mine's only about 10x12, and a slanted ceiling takes up most of one side of the room. The remaining wall space has a design wall and bookcases with plastic tubs of fabric; a large cutting table takes up most of the floor space. I can't put things on open shelves, because the mice often visit! I'm lucky to have a whole room for my sewing, but sure wish I could find ways to use some of this small space more efficiently!

I agree with Rosemary; it’s very sad to see how out of shape so many quilters are. My best friend keeps her ironing board on a different floor. Running up and down the stairs keeps her in shape and gives her more energy to quilt!

I would like to know if I could get weeks 1-37 I just pinned 38. You have great Ideas and I'm going to be redoing my quilt room in about two months. Thank you so much if possible. How many more weeks do you have and how will I know when you post them since I'm not to good in Pinterest. I have a lot of boards etc but don't really understand it.

:D I was admiring all the inspiring projects when, lo and behold, there's the BuzzinBumble DIY Ironing & Cutting Station my husband and I made. I had to show him immediately that we got on The Quilt Show website and he's so proud, LOL. Thanks for all the great ideas!

I like the pressing stations that are counter top high These ones that are right next to the machine are excellent for any one that is wheel chair bound or somehow other wise incapacitated to get up and walk. However, speaking for the capable and healthy, it is best to get up and walk over to the ironing board. Your body will stay strong. I am an old RN. The saying goes these days, sitting is the new smoking.
