I love some of the ideas that would work in my small spare bedroom. Love clothespins for embroidery floss. If careful you could put dmc number on it. Bobbin storage, labeling cords, I already use a dresser for some fabric and odds and ends notions.

I roll my fabrics and arrange by color, separated by cardboards in an ordinary bookshelf. This way Imcan see the ends of the fabrics, they are easy to remove without making a mess, and little rolls can easily be seen.Deciding on fabric is easier as there are only small amounts of color. Got this idea from a quilt book

I've learned the hard way that when you decide on a certain plastic container/bin, buy them all at once! I've had a hard time finding the same design when going back to the store (a few months later) when I decided to expand my storage space. When they're all alike, it looks so much nicer.

These are some great ideas. I love all the ideas you have come up with. I have used 2 old book cases in the closet with plastic boxes to store supply's in and have 4 IKEA glass doored book cases and have my fabric rolled on polar notion plastic boards. The fabric stands on end like bolts at the fabric shop. Looks great and easy to see what I have.
