Similar to the Pastry Storer, Michael's has 12 x 12 Iris Scrapbook Boxes. I label the front with a Brother P-Touch label maker with the name of the WIP. For example, I'm working on a Bug Jar quilt. When I find new bug fabric, I can make sure that it goes in the box for when I am ready to make the quilt. That way the new fabric doesn't get buried into my stacks and discovered after the quilt is finished.

I have roller unit that contain 6 to seven scrap book cases. The Units fits great under my raised cutting table. I like that you can pull each case totally out and keep it near your work space. At the end of the day all materials can be put back in the case and put in its rolling cart. I also have a block of the month kit. I put the fabric and pattern for each month into a clear page protector and put them in a three ring binder.

I store my projects in Decor Tellfresh 4 litre 12 Cupcake boxes. These are clear plastic, seal without falling open if you drop them, hold magazine pages or printer paper without having to fold, and stack beautifully. I tape a paper label inside one end so I can find a project at a glance.

Vickie VanDyken, I love this idea! The only inexpensive packing cases I can find on Amazon come in sets: 3 different sizes and 3 pouches. Could you provide some specifics, please and thank you? I'll order them pronto!

In the Organizing Tips section, it would be SO much easier to review the items if you would just put the description & link WITH the pictures, rather than making us scroll down the page to see what #1 is, then back up to see pic of #2, then scroll down the page to see what #2 is, and so on and so on.

The clear plastic zipper-on-top bags from places like Keepsake and Nancy's Notions are great because you can see through and immediately know what is inside plus you can tape or post-it notes about the project inside or outside the bag. They come in many sizes and line up like books on your fabric shelf!

Save the plastic zippered packaging that sheets and blankets come in. I have accumulated some in various sizes, and use them to organize my ufo's. Particularly helpful, also, when packin a project for quilt retreat.

here is something I recently "discovered" Amazon has a line of packing cubes, to keep your clothes in order when you travel. They come in colors to :) I recently ordered the medium size. They fit a regular notebook and lots of fabric! I got some large ones for larger projects, but the medium size works well. They are inexpensive, have a mesh see thru front, so you don't have to open them to see the contents, they are light weight, and a handle that slips over a machine carry case. With a Prime membership, they ship to you FREE. I think they are a great less expensive solution to where I store my WIP and UFO's. Hope you try them, I think you'll like them !!
