My mom always sprayed the dry clothes with water, rolled them up, put them in a plastic bag and let them sit overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, the moisture was evenly distributed and the ironing went smoothly and easily. She was a real pro at sewing, cooking and working full time. She was amazing!
