Don't forget the many who live or vacation in motor homes. Space and need fight each other. The collapsible board might have other uses than just ironing. Great idea!. Terry

Clever idea....You should remember that there is a large,..really large population who live in motor homes.. Full and part time...Space and needed items are always fighting. one another. As the boards fold it would be good to keep material and batting together...same side for batting.. Some way make the folded boards more compact. I'll try.. Thanks... Terry

A portable ironing board in a tote! What a great idea! I would definitely make this with 2 sets of boards - a set made of cardboard like Rob used to use for carrying to classes or elsewhere, and a wooden set to use at home. The batting will absorb a lot of moisture, however, cardboard would dry out easily after a few hours of use. If you are concerned, take the cover off. This is not meant to replace your regular ironing board, but a great addition to your pressing tools.
