love this tutorial it looks like I could actually do this and have the bias finish I want. I have tried the little ruler to make this work and a few other tricks but with little success. This looks like it might actually work.

I still can't tell if she's using the edge of the walking foot when attaching the binding or if she's scooting over to the quarter inch marking on the presser foot--even when watching the first video. I know it was covered but I couldn't understand her answer. Great videos and a beautiful job!

I much prefer to make my binding meet exactly at a 45º angle. A bit more work, but I don't end up with a lump where there are those extra layers of fabric. And I definitely do not like her suggestion that you clip off the seam allowance of the end of binding where one layer is slipped under the beginning to avoid too many layers. The binding will be very vulnerable there. Fine if it's a wall hanging, not so good for a bed quilt. However, this is a much easier method and good for beginners who have to master a lot of techniques all at once.
