This sounds delicious. My mother in law ia German and coming to visit this Christmas, so maybe I can surprise her with homemade Stollen! But what is citron? Google translate equals it to lemon in Norwegian and I am sure that is not correct? What is the German equivalent?

Thanks, Lilo. Having Dresden-style stollen to eat while opening Christmas presents is a tradition in my home. I can't always find real German-made stollen to buy and I will try your recipe this year. Happy Holidays.
